Does the sensor need annual calibration?
No, there is no need to calibrate the sensor annually.
If the oil the sensor is to be used in is changed to a different oil, then the sensor needs to be reconfigured for this oil using the CADS application.
If the oil type remains the same, but the oil readings are no longer stable in a new clean oil, it might be that the oil blend has been changed by the manufacturer. We would recommend re-profiling the oil if you see this sort of behaviour.
