Yes, the sensor is configured using a PC, configuration cable (Cable J) and the Tan Delta CADS application prior to installation.

Prior to installation the sensor must be configured for the required communication protocol and also the oil the sensor is going to be used in.
The sensor configuration can also be updated using a PC and configuration cable after installation without needing to remove the sensor from the asset.
